Tamsen Ann Ziff
Chairman, Metropolitan Opera
Ann Ziff is a jewelry designer, boutique owner and avid philanthropist. She is the widow of William B. Ziff Jr., the former head of Ziff Davis, a New York publishing company, who died in 2006. Ann presently serves as Chairman of the Metropolitan Opera. She is also a Vice Chairman of Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, a member of the board of trustees of Carnegie Hall, and the founder and producer of the Caribbean Community Theater in St. Croix. Ann currently serves on the boards of the American Museum of Natural History, Fairchild Tropical Garden, Maloto, Inc., the New York Restoration Project, Sing for Hope, and the World Science Festival.

Joe is one of the most renowned reconstructive plastic surgeons in the world. He received his undergraduate education at Harvard University and his medical degree at Columbia University. He is the Lawrence D. Bell Professor of Plastic Surgery and Director of the Institute at NYU Langone Medical Center. He has written extensively on facial surgery and the correction of craniofacial deformities. Joe was also the Founding Chairman of the Medical Advisory Board of Smile Train.

Garrett served as a private equity executive at Blackstone for 7 years. Most recently, he served as Senior Managing Director and was a member of the Private Equity Executive Committee and all of Blackstone’s Private Equity investment committees. Prior to that, Garrett was the Chief Operating Officer of the Private Equity group and oversaw the firm’s corporate responsibility initiatives. Garrett is a board member of the Posse Foundation and Middlebury College. He currently serves as a Senior Advisor at Blackstone.
